  When you teach freshman calculus, do you cover the geometric series? &lt;br&gt; Doesn&#39;t 3/10 + 3/100 + 3/1000 + ... converge to 1/3 without any &lt;br&gt; reference to the notion of decimals? &lt;br&gt; ---- &lt;br&gt; We are just dealing with the basics now. As soon as we have resolved these basic issues we will proceed to calculus and even analysis in general.   JUST this minute we have discovered the basis and clear root of an infinite differential calculus, which root we posted at Scimath(Table and inverse code of 1),just yesterday, and we inadvertantly sent the same tables to the five editors of the international journal of Mathematics, hopefully they are smart enough to see the great calculus discovered by us this minute.
